Chrudim Airport, with a history dating back to 1911, offers visitors the chance to experience aviation. Located 2 km southwest of the town, it features a grass runway for VFR flights. It is operated by Aeroklub ČR-Chrudim, which offers sightseeing flights in both powered and glider aircraft, pilot training, and hosts regular airshows full of aerobatic displays and historical aircraft. The airport is associated with a number of significant figures in Czechoslovak aviation.
