Vrbka is a small village in the Louny district, approximately 2.5 km north of Postoloprt. The first written mention dates back to 1396, and the village experienced periods under the administration of both a monastery and the Lords of Poděbrad. Brown coal mining played a significant role in its history, beginning in the 18th century and reaching its peak in the 19th century with the Terezie mine shaft. Vrbka was largely Germanized, with a small number of Czech inhabitants in 1930. Today, approximately 50 people live here.Wikipedia
