Kvasice is a picturesque village in the Kroměříž district, located at the foot of the Chřiby mountains. The first mention dates back to 1141, and the village’s history is connected to the noble families of Rottal, Lamberg, and Thun-Hohenstein. The dominant feature is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. John of Nepomuk. In 2017, a walnut tree in the castle park won the Tree of the Year competition, and the village boasts its own flag. Kvasice offers a peaceful location in nature and interesting avenues along the roads.Wikipedia
